In a new achievement that reflects our commitment to providing sustainable solutions to local communities, Masdar Engineering for Renewable Energy announced the completion of a project to supply, install, test, and operate solar-powered water pumping systems for three vital wells in Taiz Governorate: Al-Sameen, Al-Ma'afer, and Al-Mahrabah.

The systems were implemented at various capacities: 52.8 kW, 35.2 kW, and 35.2 kW, respectively. This ensures stable water pumping and provides alternative solutions to reliance on diesel, which burdens communities with its costs and environmental impact.

The project was funded by the World Bank and under the direct supervision of the United Nations Development Programme (UNOPS). This confirms the confidence international institutions place in Masdar Engineering's ability to implement strategic projects that directly impact the lives of citizens.

With the systems' commissioning, thousands of residents will benefit from clean, sustainable water, contributing to improved water security and reducing the financial burden on the population.

πŸ’¬ On this occasion, the Masdar Engineering team emphasized that this achievement is not merely a technical project, but rather a tangible step toward enhancing livelihood stability and sustainable development in Yemen, by relying on clean and renewable energy as a strategic option for the future.
